The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is one of the hottest musical festivals in the world. Without fail, numerous celebrities hit Coachella for day-to-night fun of music, arts, and fashion. Luckily, I got the chance to fly to sunny Indio, California, to enjoy a whole day of musical performances. Apart from dancing to the acts of great bands and bumping into well-known celebrities, I also learned a lot of Coachella beauty secrets \u2013 tried and tested by festival goers. Here\u2019s my take on the Coachella beauty products that you should add to your loot this summer.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Murad Essential C-Day Moisture SPF30<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Staying under the sun has extremely bad effects on your skin. Of course, for Coachella goers or anyone who loves festivals, you can\u2019t really avoid being exposed to the harmful rays of the sun. Great thing there\u2019s sunscreen. I\u2019m currently hooked on the antioxidant-rich sunscreen, Murad Essential C-Day Moisture with SPF30. Like the lucky one that I am, I received this as a gift from my aunt in the UK, which she got from a beauty subscription box called LookFantastic. This doubles as a moisturizer as well. It\u2019s so lightweight, but has a creamy texture with a barely there scent. I love its non-slippery finish that I can still apply makeup over it, without the heavy makeup feeling.<\/p>\n

Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF30<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Aside from sunscreen, moisturizers play an important role in keeping your skin well hydrated and protected even under the intense heat. Celebrity makeup artists swear by the latest Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream, which is why I\u2019ve tried it out as well. This product is so lightweight that it feels like I\u2019ve put nothing on. I also like that it immediately color corrects any pigmentation present on my face. The best part is I don\u2019t even have to use bronzers because this instantly adds a natural glow to my skin.<\/p>\n

Diorshow Iconic Extreme Waterproof Mascara<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

If there\u2019s one makeup product I would never live without, I\u2019d say mascara. With Asian eyes like mine, mascara makes my eyes pop without the need to go over the top. However, with the summer heat, finding suitable mascara that won\u2019t melt and give you panda eyes at the end of the day is quite the challenge. Thankfully the Christian Dior gods have graced us with their waterproof mascara. My take on this product \u2013 the Iconic wand is so easy to use compared to other mascaras I\u2019ve tried.<\/p>\n

Stila Crush Lip and Cheek Stain – Pomegranate Crush<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Gone are the days that you have to constantly reapply lipstick to keep your puckers colored throughout the day. Thanks to the revolutionary lip stain, your lips stay as colorful as you want them to be. My favorite lip stain for summer would have to be the Stila Crush Lip and Cheek Stain in Pomegranate Crush, which I\u2019ve taken cue from Kristen Stewart, a frequent celeb favorite at Coachella.<\/p>\n

Camille Albane After-Sun Mask with Marine Spring Water<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

After all the fun and excitement, it\u2019s nice to get some much needed rest. Take it from celebrities who cool down after the Coachella festivities. Rather than taking a dip in the pool, I suggest jumping into the shower and using Camille Albane\u2019s After-Sun Mask with Marine Spring Water right after. The mask feels rich and has a creamy texture that\u2019s so easy to apply.
